Fur in the desert? >_<

AS for the Clay Bricks dude - You can't acutally GET any Clay Bricks, they are at crafters, but the materials needed to craft them dont exist (bricks of mud).

Heh, that's true, to actually wear fur IRL in the desert would suck. At Leipzig they made sure to tell people that Nightfall is not all desert, so maybe that's why they showed the rangers wearing fur?

Well, that new fur/leather armor isn't covering the entire character like existing armor that uses fur, so I guess that sorta makes sense too.

Re: Clay Bricks / Bricks of Mud - I wonder what on earth they would be useful for if they ever did bring them back. Not like you would need bricks for armor or weapons. Interesting possibility if they resurrect the use or availability of bricks.

I'd love to see a time sink like housing, maybe available on Battle Isles, made from wood planks and clay bricks. Or, make a communal area like an outpost accessible from the Guild Hall where all of a particular Guild's houses would be located. They could provide additional storage as well, maybe even allow you to buy NPCs for your house. Then again I'd be happy as a tick if they just added an NPC to the Guild Hall that would hold an item for a designated guildmate, or communal guild item storage...

I kinda stacked up on everything, but I have high amounts of cloths, tanned hides and iron since they are most commonly used. Need more bones and wood though.

I think there will be new armour for each class. As i can recall that Pvp event was lacking a little as u couldn't even make a female paragon or male dervish :P. Maybe they learned from factions not to give it all away so ppl will have a harder time figuring out what to stock up on.

Id love to see some thing to use materials on in the GH even if its just cosmetic....after all the traders have been bought theres very little to aim for guild wise

Yeh. I think with the normal materials you will be able to buy all the armors. If you want to buy 15k armor we'll need to collect special stuff, like steel etc =)

My best guess here is Iron, Steel, Cloth, Tanned Hides and Leather. Paragons have 80 AL (odd, since they're midline), so they're probably packing some metal in their armors. And the Dervishes....well, it looks like they'd have tanned hides or something in theirs.

I'm just stacking up on everything. Rubies and Sapphires will be the hardest to come by in my opinion.

I definitely see bricks of mud, Elonian Leather Squares, and such things finding use. (Finally)

Found this on Guildwasrs.com

The Fiery Sunspear of Shelter is the iconic weapon of the Order of the Sunspears and consists of a tempered steel head and a long Mebahya-wood shaft, gripped at the midpoint. Behind the head, a flattened sunburst disk increases stability in flight, as does the riverhorse-bristle fletching on the butt of the weapon. Deadly in the hands of a skilled individual, the Sunspear was first used as a weapon by the early Order of the Sunspears in Istan and remains a traditional weapon of that Elonian province.

The Icy Soulbreaker of Enchanting is a lightweight but powerful Dervish weapon. Its haft is made of bound ironreed wrapped with bindings made of Elonian leather. Its head is carved from strengthened skyquartz, a shatterproof crystalline mineral mined in southern Istan. The secondary blade at the base of the weapon is also made of skyquartz, and is carved in the traditional "blades of the five gods" design. Among the Dervishes, such weapons are often passed down from mentor to student, and often are as much pieces of art as they are weapons of war.

.....On one hand, pretty sure Tetris started that rumor himself on this thread, so that
every1 will rush to get bricks. He'll have had stacks of it by then already, then he can just merch it or sell it to ppl b4 release. I heard of a guild doin that w/ Factions, starting a rumor abuot some items, and they each made about 1.3 mil off of it.

.....On the other hand, I've heard lots of rumors 'bout bricks, so it could be true, just don't see how you'd use 'em.
